As we near the end of Job, we read today's headings for Job 38:1 to 39:30 and we see they are; "The Lord Speaks" and "The Lord Continues His Reply." Scott mentioned the Lord speaking to us. We need, by grace and thru the Spirit, to discern His direction and plans. God will still be speaking in the end times, just glance ahead to Revelation 20 to see.
Reflect on those headings "The Lord Speaks; The Lord Continues His Reply." One may perceive awe, blessing, comfort, fear, love, or perhaps other strong feelings upon such a reflection.

Read John 3:16; if you can, spend some time reading the gospel messages. Consider God's gift of Jesus Christ and look ahead to the Old Testiment readings as a love story between a loving father and his children who are more often than not; rebellious. God presents himself to us with his reward and recompense.

On a side God speaks on lightning here. A question we read yesterday was
"Do you know how God...makes lightning flash?"
Job:37:15-NIV
Last time I looked (a while back) humanity had only theories on lighning, for we do not really know how that large charge separation needed to create that lightning flash occurs. (One theory had to do with unequal raindrop spliiting being the basis for charge separation.)
Pray for discenment.
