Eyes on Jesus (Oct 10)

He answered, "The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom.  The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.  The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels..."
               Matthew 13:37-39 NIV

We read of Jesus' explanation of the parable of the weeds today.

As we read, we can consider also the marriage feast of the lamb in Revelation 19.  In giving consideration to the marriage feast, it is very easy to see the truth in this parable of Jesus.

Jesus is concerned with all of us.  Jesus walked on earth, in perfection, to bring glory to God the Father.  Jesus is the way, the light, and the truth.  No one enters to the Father except by Jesus.  Keep your eyes focused on Jesus as you live today and everyday.  By turning your eyes on Jesus, in His glory and grace, the things of the world will go strangely dim.

How do you keep your focus on the Lord Jesus?

What kind of things draw your attention away from Jesus?

Pray that the Spirit keep your eyes on Jesus.

In Christ,

David P
