In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of man but with the circumcision done by Christ.

We can be encouraged by today's verse, for our desire to avoid bad habits, destructive behavior, procrastination, or sin is not something done by us on an individual or collective basis; but rather something done for us by Christ in his work by his death on the cross and resurrection. It is not our power that enables us to live the abundant life that God has planned for us, but rather by the power of the Spirit that points us to Christ on a moment by moment basis.
One challenge that we have is to watch, listen and look for the Spirit's guidance. Our world is so full of distractions that so easily grab our attention and as a result can loose our focus. It is by faith, another gift of the Spirit, that we are able to focus.
To gain information, knowledge, and wisdom as to God's will for our life; spend time in the Word.

Pray for time management skills to allow you to spend more time in the Word and apply the Word to your life.
