I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number.
Jeremiah 23:3 NIV
We have an awesome, almighty, powerful, loving God. Our God here promises to Israel that He will gather the remnant of His flock back to their pasture, the promised land from all of the countries where He has driven His people.
This promise given by Jeremiah to the kingdom of Judah around 600 BC was fulfilled one time when exiled Israel returned home. The Lord's promise - Jeremiah speaks also applies to us, for we, through the work of Jesus Christ, are grafted onto Israel and as a result, are and, will be, gathered home to the Kingdom of the Lord, where there is abundant blessing.
How is it encouraging to you knowing that the Lord will bring you back to your pasture?
Pray for the Spirit to work in, on and through you to show others the fruits of the Spirit.
